Sticking stickers on the car, where to start?

How to put a sticker on the car correctly

Putting stickers on your car can be a great way to express your personality or even promote your business. It is important to follow the correct application process to ensure that the sticker looks professional and lasts a long time.

Required materials

Before starting, make sure you have the following materials:

  • Mild detergent (without alcohol and ammonia)
  • Clean, soft towel or < /span>microfiber cloth
  • Spraying water with a few drops < /span>soap
  • Plastic putty or credit card
  • Hair dryer (optional)

Sticker gluing instructions

1. Paruošimas

First of all, the surface of the car on which the sticker will be applied must be thoroughly cleaned. Use a mild detergent and warm water to remove any dirt, grease or wax. Afterwards, rinse the surface with clean water and allow it to dry completely.

2. Lipduko pozicionavimas

Before peeling off the sticker base, try different positions of the sticker on the car to find the place you like best. Once you've decided, you can attach the decal to your car by using a small amount of masking tape on top to hold the decal in place.

3. Klijavimas

Carefully peel the sticker backing from one edge without moving the sticker. Spray a thin layer of the soap and water mixture on the surface of the car. This will make it easier for you to adjust the position of the sticker.

4. Lyginimas

Place the sticker on the car and use a plastic card to smooth out the air bubbles and ensure that the sticker adheres well to the surface. Start from the center and iron towards the edges.

5. Džiovinimas

Allow the sticker to dry for at least 24 hours. If you have a hair dryer, you can gently heat the sticker for better adhesion, especially in cooler weather.

Tips and Tricks

  • Do not use sharp objects to flatten the air bubbles to avoid damaging the sticker.
  • If the sticker is large, ask someone else to help make the process go more smoothly.
  • Do not apply the stickers in very hot or cold weather, as this may affect the adhesion of the adhesive.
